The Trust

Donegal Clinical Academy Trust has been established to oversee the fundraising of €2 million for the development of much-needed educational and research facilities at Letterkenny Hospital.

However, the Trust has a vision to deliver an enhanced and indeed advance medical care and clinical research to benefit the people of Donegal. An isolated county with a growing population, the Trust is committed to delivering on this project, leaving a legacy for generations to come.

€2 million of the cost of this facility is being provided by NUI, Galway for a 600-square metre educational space.

The Trust plans to build an auditorium with additional educational research capacity.

It has commenced fundraising for the remaining €2 million which is required to complete this state-of-the-art facility.
